I've seen many good uses for the postgres module. I personally don't like postgres at all. I also happen to be comfortable with that developer. However, the two extra modules (devel kit is there) that would be required aren't exactly light modules. It would be nice to see a bit more interest or cause before tacking on three more modules (rds, form, postgres) to our list of modules to manage.
