Package: gnuchess-book
Version: 1.02-1
Severity: normal

Hello!
Thanks for maintaining this public domain chess opening book.

I installed it in order to use it with eboard, polyglot, and stockfish.
This setups seems to indeed work correctly, as long as the PolyGlot
initialization file includes the following directives:

  Book = true
  BookFile = /usr/share/games/gnuchess/book.bin

in the [PolyGlot] section.

As far as I understand it, this setup does *not* use gnuchess in any
manner.
Hence, I wonder why gnuchess-book depends on gnuchess.
Since gnuchess-book seems to be useable without gnuchess, I would
say that the Depends could well be turned into a Suggests.

Is this correct?
Could this be done in the next upload, please?

Please let me know.
Thanks for your time!
