Hi Paul,

I've split the bug, as there is of course the separate issue of why the
second instance of ulogd starts up in the first place. I'm pretty sure
this is because the ulogd init script is left behind, so ulogd is
started once by the old script and then again by the new one.

I'm working on fixing this issue now as well, by disabling the original
script and removing it unless the local admin has made any changes to it.
