Package: policykit-1
Version: 0.105-4
Severity: normal

Root's password: 1234abcd

When issuing:

pkexec /usr/sbin/synaptic

A dialog box is presented asking for root's password. When capslock key
is ON, a small warning is presented but despite password is typed in
uppercase (e.g., 1234ABCD), access is granted thus making pkexec case-
insenstive.

"gksu /usr/sbin/synaptic" works as expected.
