Package: nut-server Version: 2.6.4-2.3 Followup-For: Bug #721600 Dear Maintainer,
Just made an install of Debian 7.2 from scratch and still had this problem. The usb device has incorrect permissions, so I had to fix it manually. I'm not sure if /etc/udev/rules.d/52_nut-usbups.rules should be there or not (it was NOT present in my system), but the fact is that usb device has incorrect permissions after install. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages nut-server depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libupsclient1 2.6.4-2.3 ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-20+nmu1 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-24 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian8+deb7u1 ii nut-client 2.6.4-2.3 ii udev 175-7.2 nut-server recommends no packages.
