Package: prey Version: 0.5.3-7.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I have tried to install and configure prey at friends laptop (with Debian 7.2) and when testing whether it's configuration is correct I've found that reports can't be send due to following error: /usr/lib/prey/core/functions: line 40: modules_url: read only variable
When testing at my laptop there is same problem. I've downloaded prey-0.6.2-linux.zip and replace whole function set_config (lines 37-41) from downloaded zip archive, but this doesn't help. We have same error as before. best regards Kamen -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages prey depends on: ii bash 4.2+dfsg-1 ii curl 7.33.0-1 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.52 ii imagemagick 8:6.7.7.10-6 ii libio-socket-ssl-perl 1.962-1 ii libnet-ssleay-perl 1.55-1+b2 ii openssl 1.0.1e-4 ii perl 5.18.1-5 ii streamer 3.103-2.1 Versions of packages prey recommends: ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-3+b1 prey suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/prey/config changed [not included] -- debconf information: prey/active_modules: alert, session, system, lock, alarm, geo, webcam, network prey/reporting_frequency: 20 prey/edit_config: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
