Using FAI 4.0.8 (which has setup-storage 1.4) and a wheezy nfroot this
works for me, even the variable ROOT_PARTITION is set to:
ROOT_PARTITION=${ROOT_PARTITION:-/dev/xpv/root}
I'm using liblinux-lvm-perl 0.17-1 inside the nfsroot.
This is my fstab entry for the root partition:
/dev/xpv/root / ext4 noatime,rw 0 1
The installation runs perfectly and the new machine boots without problems.
I'm not sure if this problem was caused by setup-storage.
Anyway, it's fixed in 4.0.8 and therefore I will close the bug.
