This may not be specific to Linux 3.2.0, as it functions properly under 'Wheezy' (Stable) with Linux 3.2.51-rt72 (built locally). It may not be specific to 'wmbattery', as the screen also no longer dims when the external power supply is unplugged. This is a MacBook Pro (Apple ID: MacBookPro7,1).
