Package: mime-codecs Version: 7.03-1 Severity: wishlist Error description:
I am pre filtering SPAM manuell inside of procmail before spamassassin.
For this it is neccesarily to decode soem "Subject:" headers, because
many SPAMers using base64 and qp encodings to aviod detection be SPAM
filters.
Now if I pipe
SUB=`formail -zcx Subject: |qp-decode`
I get the error message
line 2: something other then line break or hex
digits after = in quoted-printable encoding
I have encountered that {qp.base-64}-decode does not support the
=?ISO-8859-.[1].[0-9]?[qQbB? .... ?=
strings which give the Error message.
Please can you include a code which remove this strings automaticly
if detected ? This will make mime-codec more useful and decoding
faster because pre filtering with sed taks to much time.
Thanks
Michelle
