Package: dnsmasq Version: 2.23-1 Severity: normal The dnsmasq process on my machine runs as 'nobody', which is an account that basically should not be used for anything. Since any process owned by 'nobody' can intefere with any other process owned by 'nobody', its use by any server is significantly less secure than the use of a special-purpose user (which is what most other daemons do, and what I believe dnsmasq should do).
