The plugin fails to activate in gedit 3.8 with the following error message: (gedit:9899): libpeas-WARNING **: Could not find loader 'python' for plugin 'RCtrl' It seems this gedit 3.8 uses python3, while the plugin is written in python 2. It seems a port for Python 3 is available since October 28th [1].
