Package:owncloud-client version: 1.5.0+dfsg-2 amd64 severity: important I upgraded my Owncloud client. It was working without any trouble. GUI throws error "unable to initialize a sync journal" Log shows error "Database Driver QSQLITE could not be loaded!" I installed some SQL related packages, this didn't help. In the end the issue was resolved by installing libqt4-sql-sqlite , as hinted on http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.kde.devel.owncloud/11132
