        Well, as I’ve just commented on Bug#733603, I doubt there’s a
        reason to put these manual pages into any non-standard location.

        For instance, we already have puts.3.gz and puts.3tcl.gz in
        /usr/share/man/man3, and I see no reason not to put AVR Libc’s
        puts.3.gz as puts.3avr.gz there.

        Naturally, this will obviate any need for a separate avr-man(1)
        wrapper.  (Although having a manual page for it may still be
        appropriate, at least so to document that there’s no need to use
        it on Debian.)
