Hi Andreas, things could probably be done with Wheezy packages only, but the problem is that my workstation is also a Jessie system, and it is only after doing a large quantity of the work that I realised that I did not pay attention to backward compatibility. The major blocker is Apache: it is in version 2.2 in Wheezy and 2.4 in Jessie, and supporting both at the same time is not trivial. For git there is a backport, and for perl, Wheezy version should be enough in the end (I thought that libmouse-perl was not in Wheezy, but it is).
