Disable the lock screen, only screensaver and have one blue screen again after a gnome notification message come up in the background.
I guess forwarding to gnome does not solve the probleme for debian, because it is fixed in gnome 3.8 anyway. With other words, debian wheezy and gnome-screensaver is broken with a dual screen setup.
