Yes, well, that procedure assumes you still have a /usr/bin/svnadmin linked to db4.2. For various reasons that would be awkward in Debian's case. Note that we can't do this whole thing right at upgrade time (in the preinst, when the old binaries are still available), because we have no idea where all the users on the system might keep their repositories. Whatever procedure we document has to be usable *after* the upgrade, not just before or during. Peter
