Package: xfce4-volumed Version: 0.1.13-3 Followup-For: Bug #654633 I'd just like to add another data point that this hit me as well, on a new install without any customization. I chose xfce4, and pulseaudio was installed by default, and I ran into the volume bug mentioned.
(The workaround mentioned earlier in this report works for me, but of course it remains a bug.)
