libsane has already been converted for MultiArch, hence such
issues should no longer arise.

If they do, it's ok to file another bug report or re-open
this one, but leaving the bug report alone forever without
giving further feedback isn't helping the cause, it's just
spamming the bug tracker.

We don't win anything if we leave this open forever while
no one is able to reproduce it reliably. Again, if you can
show me how to trigger this issue, I will be very happy
to re-open the bug and have a look at the issue.

I am aware of the fact that the SANE package still needs
some work and I several points left on my TODO list which
I will hopefully get done together with Mark, one of them
driving the package split for binary-only, all and MultiArch
packages further. There are still some redundancies
and duplicate files.
