Hi,

sorry for sounding rude and aggressive, and my fault for not checking in
detail what is mplayer used for.

In my somewhat long experience with debian, both as a user and marginal
contributor, I've had problems in the past with other maintainers and
unreasonable dependencies.

For example when kdepim was depending on akonadi because future versions of
kdepim would really depend on akonadi, but the current one didn't, so you
could just force dpkg to not install the dependency and the package would work
fine anyway, and yet the maintainers refused to remove the dependency.

So again, sorry for misjudging you and your work, but asking me for
unconditional trust on what a maintainer does is a bit too much.

Bye and thanks for the quick reply
