Package: lists.debian.org Severity: wishlist The mail software which I use has recently been modified to use the *last* line in the message text (or part, if the message uses MIME multipart) containing only "-- " as the signature separator.
Given that the list software attaches its own signature, this has two implications: one is display-only (text style) and the other affects replies in that the message's original signature will not be removed (whereas the list-added signature will be). Hence my request that if the message body contains a valid signature separator, the list software should not add one (at least, not a valid one). -- | Darren Salt | linux (or ds) at | nr.
