I was referring to the Debian menu and XFCE uses the freedesktop standard, the .desktop file. The Debian menu is an alternative menu for window manager setups nowadays. The fix is trivial. Check out the link I posted. https://wiki.debian.org/Games/JessieReleaseGoal You can either convert your existing png icon for your desktop file to a 32x32 xpm file with GIMP or mtpaint or you can build the icon from source with imagemagick in your dh_auto_build-indep target. Then you just have to add an icon entry to your menu file. That's it and your package is fully integrated in whatever desktop environment. Thanks Markus
