Package: twinkle Version: 1:1.4.2-4 Severity: normal I don't know how this happens; possibly some configuration in my user is creating this situation (as otherwise nobody would be able to use twinkle), but in any case it seems serious enough to warrant a bug report.
I have just installed twinkle, and when I try to run it, absolutely nothing happens. I tried removing the ~/.twinkle directory but still no cookie: $ rm -rf .twinkle/ $ twinkle Critical: Cannot open file for reading: /home/tincho/.twinkle/twinkle.cfg ^C I honestly don't know what to do, or what information to provide. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (50, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages twinkle depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.27.2-3 ii libboost-regex1.54.0 1.54.0-4+b1 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libccgnu2-1.8-0 1.8.1-6 ii libccrtp0 2.0.6-3 ii libgcc1 1:4.8.2-14 ii libgsm1 1.0.13-4 ii libmagic1 1:5.14-2 ii libncurses5 5.9+20140118-1 ii libreadline6 6.2+dfsg-0.1 ii libsndfile1 1.0.25-9 ii libspeex1 1.2~rc1.1-1 ii libspeexdsp1 1.2~rc1.1-1 ii libstdc++6 4.8.2-14 ii libtinfo5 5.9+20140118-1 ii libucommon6 6.0.7-1.1 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-3 ii libzrtpcpp2 2.3.4-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 twinkle recommends no packages. twinkle suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
