Package: gtk-redshift Version: 1.7-2 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Installed gtk-redshift package from the wheezy repo while using XFCE4. Attempted to start gtk-redshift from the launcher and nothing happened. When starting from command line, I get the following output: $ gtk-redshift Cannot list GNOME panel applets. Initialization of gnome-clock failed. Trying next provider... Latitude and longitude must be set. I assume that it requires GNOME. If so, GNOME should be a dependency (or whatever component would satisfy it). -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gtk-redshift depends on: ii python 2.7.3-4+deb7u1 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-3+b1 ii python-xdg 0.19-5 ii python2.6 2.6.8-1.1 ii python2.7 2.7.3-6 ii redshift 1.7-2 gtk-redshift recommends no packages. gtk-redshift suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
