Thanks, reading the man page and the source code for --with-fingperint
and --fingerprint, it seems that --with-fingerprint is slightly better
for the intended purpose than --fingerprint.

i still consider mutt to be broken if it can't handle "fingerprint" in
the user's gpg.conf, fwiw, but i've updated the openpgp best practices
document.
