Thanks. I worked with Adam Conrad (infinity) and got a patch that takes the
syscall numbers from GLIBC, so we don't need the hard coded list and sent that
upstream. That or another similar patch will be in the next clamav release,
so I'll use that instead. I think that'll resolve this just fine.
That's of course the best solution for getting the syscall numbers.
That or another similar patch will be in the next clamav release,

to update stable/oldstable with the current package first and then I'll do
another round of updates in Sid.
That's fine.
In addition to this, there are some new file types that clamav supports that we
don't include because we're missing build depends (I think).
From a quick look at the configure output I see:
[...]
checking for libxml2 installation... not found
configure: ****** libxml2 support unavailable
[...]
checking for gv... no
checking for gsview32... no
[...]
checking for doxygen... no
[...]
checking for zip... no
[...]
checking valgrind/valgrind.h usability... no
checking valgrind/valgrind.h presence... no
[...]
configure: Summary of engine detection features
[...]
dmg and xar : no
These are fixed with the following build dependencies:
gv, doxygen, zip, valgrind, libxml2-dev
But I don't know, if they are actually needed, except for libxml2-dev,
which is needed for dmg and xar support.
Perhaps you can check, where/if the other build-dependencies are needed.
Best regards,
Andreas
