I tried and succeed in building a usable backport for wheezy One just need to match wheezy versions in two depends: - ruby-debian (>= 0.3.8+b1) instead of 0.3.8+b2 - ruby-json (>= 1.7.3-3) instead of 1.8.0-1 However I may have miss the reason why those depends were that way.
