Package: debootstrap Version: 0.3.3 Severity: normal
Hi, I've installed a sid chroot using debootstrap (unstable on sarge), and wasn't able to send bug reports from within using reportbug (that's my actual problem). Digging a bit into it, I found out that: 1. /usr/bin/mail is installed but not through dpkg: $ dpkg -S /usr/bin/mail dpkg: /usr/bin/mail not found. 2. a dependency is missing: $ mail -s testchroot [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail: error while loading shared libraries: liblockfile.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory 3. after installation of liblockfile1, mail doesn't complain anymore and seems to work, though something is still wrong, but I think that's another story.
