Hi,

we also have a permission problem with fuse. We use udev to give
everybody permissions to /dev/fuse.

Unfortunately udev only gets triggered when the fuse module is loaded.

Unfortunately the module only gets loaded automatically if someone
accesses /dev/fuse which is impossible for ordinary users not in group
fuse.

A workaround in wheezy is to install the package fuse-utils which
provides an init script which loads the module at system boot.

Please set the default permission to 0666. If someone wants to
restrict permissions he can use the udev rule for this.

Christopher
