Package: autofs
Version: 5.0.7-3
Severity: normal

Hi!

Problem description:

autofs is configured to read an auto.home map from NIS. The NIS-server
was down when the client booted. Then the NIS-server was restored. =>
automount fails to mount everything from auto.home, forever. It seems
to cache the negative NIS-lookup forever.

Restart of autofs solved the problem.

This problem is similar to bug #597304 and bug #710490 .

/ Anders
