Package: mate-applets Version: 1.6.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I've recently started building desktop machines using Debian Wheezy and MATE. Unfortunately, the out-of-the-box (OOTB) settings for the MATE Mixer applet are such that sound does not work (e.g. muted, sliders down, whatever). It would be better if the default settings were such that sound worked.
