This makes no sense to me; the current .orig.tar.gz file is not useful
for anything; the only version it could build cannot actually be built
because of the circular dependency. Moreover, the new .orig.tar.gz file
is what the upstream project released...

I'll see if I can't get the ftp masters to help out a bit and make this
work in some sensible fashion.
