Indeed, it seems so. I looked inside my Jessie installation. > carsten@x201s:~ $ apt-cache show signing-party | grep Depends > Depends: libc6 (>= 2.14), perl, gnupg, libgnupg-interface-perl, > libtext-template-perl, libmime-tools-perl, libmailtools-perl, > libterm-readkey-perl, libclass-methodmaker-perl, qprint O.k. depends on 'libmailtools-perl'. > carsten@x201s:~ $ apt-cache show libmailtools-perl | grep Depends > Depends: perl, libnet-perl, libtimedate-perl, libnet-smtp-ssl-perl So everything should be fine for Jessie or greater. But as I can't check Wheezy directly. So a quick search via packages.debian.org shows me the dependency is still missing in Wheezy https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/signing-party https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/libmailtools-perl Don't know if it's possible to get a new version into stable-security with a better depends field set. -- Regards Carsten
