LibreOffice can open quite well an ODT from a WebDAV protected share (on an owncloud installation), by double clicking from Gnome. Document's location reported in File/Properties is something like : davs://our.owncloud-server.com/remote.php/webdav/whatever/ (mydoc.odp) However, it can't save changes and reports : Error saving the document mydoc: Error creating object. Could not create backup copy. Furthermore, the document is from now on reported as locked by the WebDAV server, preventing further changes to it :-/ It seems there may be patches floating around, mentioning a RH bugzilla ticket #961460 which may be relevant.
