It would be useful to suggest libjmxetric-java and provide a convenient way to enable it. If enabled by the user, it needs to be added to the JVM boot classpath as described here: http://danielpocock.com/monitoring-jboss-tomcat-and-application-servers-with-jmxetric In practice, this may just mean providing a sample, commented JAVA_OPTS in /etc/default/tomcat7 and some comments in README.Debian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
