Again, sometimes my Raltek audio card disappear (once a year or so) The only way to get it back is to use this command (misspelled in previous email) :
sudo alsactl init > Unknown hardware: "HDA-Intel" "Realtek ALC889" > "HDA:10ec0889,14627637,00100004" "0x1462" "0x7637" > Hardware is initialized using a guess method -- best regards, BM
