Hi, FYI, this has been fixed upstream [1], and is scheduled to be released on the 17th of April with the rest of OpenStack Icehouse. Therefore, it is my view that, while this bug still exist, its severity can be downgraded. It would be currently complicated and not productive to maintain a specific DFSG branch, and I don't think it's worse the effort, as it will be solved soon anyway.
