Package: iso-codes
Version: 3.41-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

I think the name "Taiwan, Province of China" in the countries list is
misleading and ambiguous:

- If Taiwan is considered to be a province, then it should not be in a list of
countries.
- If it is considered to be a country, then it should be named correctly.

The problem is well explained on this wikipedia page
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan,_China

This list should not be influenced by political views.

For China and Taiwan, I'd suggest these two unambiguous names instead:

- China (PRC)
- Taiwan (ROC)
