Package: gnucash
Version: 1:2.6.1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

In 2.2.9 If I did not fill out the account field for a split it would
default in Orphan-USD and leave my typed amount in place.

Now it still defaults in Orphan-USD, but it clears the amount that I typed.

Can the old behavior be restored?

Steps to reproduce:
With a new gnucash file with the default accounts (although really this
should work on any file):

1. Open the Cash in Wallet account register
2. Click on Split
3. Tab 4 times to the memo field type a memo: "abc"
4. Tab 2 times to the received field type an amount 100
5. Tab 2 times opening up a new split line At this point the account filed
shows the "Cash in Wallet" account on the first split.
6. Tab once. Type a memo "xyz"
7. Tab 3 times. Change the higlighted value of 100 to 30.
8. Tab once, opening up a new split.

It is at this point that the behaviors are different. 2.2.9 still shows 30
in the spend column. 2.6.1 shows a blank amount on the previous split and
100 on the newly opened split.
