Package: src:iceweasel Version: 24.3.0esr-1~deb7u1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
New since Iceweasel 17 ESR series is a modal popup dialog anchored around the address bar favicon area, prompting me to install the non-free Adobe Flash plugin when the website I visit tries to use it. It can be suppressed with a couple of mouseclicks, but I think this is a nuisance, as well as not being in the spirit of FSF principles since it is pushing non-free software. Please consider disabling it by default. I think this is controlled by plugins.notifyMissingFlash Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.4 APT prefers proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
