Package: wnpp Severity: normal I'm no longer interested in the zeromq packages so I'm orphaning them. zeromq3 is in good state and with an active and responsive upstream. The only outstanding task should be to enable CurveZMQ support as soon as the libsodium package enters Debian (cfr. #701962).
Also note that, despite the name, the zeromq3 source package is actually tracking upstream's 4.x branch, and should probably be renamed to zeromq as soon as the actual zeromq package is removed. The package is maintained in git at: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/zeromq3.git The package description is: ØMQ is a library which extends the standard socket interfaces with features traditionally provided by specialised messaging middleware products. . ØMQ sockets provide an abstraction of asynchronous message queues, multiple messaging patterns, message filtering (subscriptions), seamless access to multiple transport protocols and more. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
