I have debianized the CherryPy-2.1.0 code into python2.4-cherrypy and made it
available here:

deb ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool sid custom main
deb-src ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool sid custom main

My goal is to debianize Turbogears and cherypy is one of the links in the
toolchain. As such, I have tunnel vision on what cherrypy should do in the
large scope of things.

I used the official 2.0.0f-2 package as my start, but made some heavy
modifications (like removing support python2.3), but I would like to share
what I have done with the official debian maintainer.

python-cherrypy (2.1.0-0.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release
  * Standards-Version to 3.6.2
  * Added hack to clean:: rule see BTS #300149
  * Fixed typo syntax-error-in-debian-changelog line 42
  * Bug fix: "python2.4-cherrypy: New upstream release" (Closes: #334933).

If you have some sort of repository I'll be happy to submit patches back so
you can easily apply them to the official package.

Thanks.
