I have debianized the setuptools-0.6a7 code into python2.4-setuptools and made it available here:
deb ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool sid custom main deb-src ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool sid custom main My goal is to debianize Turbogears and setuptools is one of the links in the toolchain. As such, I have tunnel vision on what setuptools should do in the large scope of things. I used the official 0.6a6-1 package as my start, but made some heavy modifications (like removing support python2.3), but I would like to share what I have done with the official debian maintainer. python-setuptools (0.6a7-0.1) unstable; urgency=low * New upstream release * Remove python2.3 package -- Robert J.
