> Anyway, on a correctly configured system af_unix would be autoloaded. yes it's even in my /etc/modules, the think is i have kernel auto module loading disabled. and when i check the rcS.d directory ## S01glibc.sh S02mountvirtfs S04udev ## there is not much which is started _before_ udev starts, and the scripts which load modules from /etc/modules is ## S20module-init-tools ## which is to late so maybe the only way is that udev loads the unix module, ore loading modules should be done before udev starts regards Robbert Muller >
