Hi folks, I had the same problem here after the upgrade of freedict packages, and yes Nikolay, you're right: goldendict should recognize the change of dictionary-files an reindex them.
But there's no need to delete the whole personal configuration in ~/.goldendict, you only need to delete the goldendict indices in ~/.goldendict/index.
