The purpose of this project is to provide portable math functions, many of which are in C99 and not available on all platforms. It is based on NumPy's umath and tries to support all floating point and complex types. This is a dependency for python-numba, which I also packaged (I will file the ITP in few minutes). The package is lintian clean and works (python3 is not supported because it is not supported by llvm), the git packacing repo is available at: git://anonscm.debian.org/collab-maint/python-shapely.git http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/llvmmath.git;a=summary However, I don't have enough trust in my knowledge and my long-term time availability to adopt such a package. Feel free to start from my work. I cannot exclude that I might be available for comaintainership... but I couldn't have a major role. Pietro Battiston By the way: for whoever is interested and (foolishly!) trusts me, here is the amd64 package: http://pietrobattiston.it/t/python-llvmmath_0.1.1-1_amd64.deb -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
