Sorry, I put too much confidence into make. Re-applied the patch on a clean apt-get source and rebuilt : fixed the issue.
patch did not apply automatically though (patch -p1 at the root of the src, got rejected), I just removed the line myself. Thanks for your support BR Guillaume
