you have installed the Lightning extension from Mozilla? Lightning *and* Icedove won't work together after version 24 because of internally symbol mismatch. Please use iceowl-extension from the Debian repositories instead of the Mozilla Lightning extension. The backtrace shows exactly the same error as bug #724688 [1].
