See the discussion in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=742113 The problem basically is, that no program is reading from /dev/xconsole, so the pipe runs full and rsyslog (correctly) logs this issue. So this is expected behaviour. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
