The "packaging part" of the team is me, but as long as I don't run a sendmail instance myself (that was 10 years ago) I won't step in as maintainer. Therefore I orphan sendmail now. I will continue to do QA uploads to work on the packaging and apply patches (provided by others, if they look sane), but I cannot solve configuration issues on my own. I offer to become a co-Maintainer should someone who is really interested in sendmail (and running it in production) take over the maintainership.
