As reported before, the new fixed readlink program is included in coreutils 5.9*.
coreutils 5.93 is now in unstable! When the latter drops into testing it will be a good time to revert checkroot.sh, mountvirtfs and rmnologin to using the standard (i.e., coreutils) version of the readlink program.
